//OVERVIEW

Flux, is a Valorant agent concept that has two ability kits that can be changed through his ultimate. His two kits are designed to work complementary to each other creating a playing experience that pushes players to be adaptive and deliberate with ability use.


Flux takes inspiration from League of Legends’ Aphelios and his ability to change his weapons throughout the game, affecting his active abilities. Flux’s design kit aims to capture this flexibility and create an entirely unique agent that can focus on either utility or offense as they adapt in the battlefield.

//BIOGRAPHY

British physicist Flux embraces both sides of himself between the dimensions, using his radiant abilities to harness electromagnetism interdimensionally. With his two selves acting as a catalyst, and the other an inhibitor, Flux controls the flow of battle as he switches between his two halves. 

ABILITIES

Flux’s core gameplay centers around being able to switch his entire ability kit through his ultimate. Flux has two kits, a CATALYST mode and an INHIBITOR mode. CATALYST abilities harness the power of liquid mercury for offensive means. Meanwhile INHIBITOR abilities harness the power of ferrofluids for crowd control.

Both kits are complementary to each other. To be able to play an effective Flux, players must switch their kit strategically to play Flux’s full potential.
